FABTECH Atlanta 2018

The FABTECH is the world's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding trade show industry and attracts around 35,000 visitors every year. From November 6-8, SIMPAC America Co., Ltd founded as a subsidiary of the South Korean SIMPAC Inc. in 2016, exhibited there In Hall A, Booth A2033, the new international team presented itself under the motto "FOR YOU. RIGHT NOW." as a competent partner for sheet metal forming products and services.

The highlight at the Simpac stand was the new generation of servo presses, the new MX and SX series:

  • The stamping and forming systems with servo drive combine German engineering with Korean efficiency and the familiar attractive price/performance ratio of Simpac.
  • Available with press forces from 3,000 to 30,000 ton, the new series cover a wide range of parts.
  • The free programming of the slide movement enables not only increased output in pendulum stroke operation but also optimum adaptation of the forming process to the produced part.
  • In addition to the improved overall stiffness of the press body, the new press generation has optimized drive dynamics and new components from well-known German manufacturers.

The result: efficient processes, top part quality and high flexibility in production.

In addition to an overview of SIMPAC's broad product range, visitors to the stand also gained an insight into current development topics and projects which the two R&D centers in Germany and Korea are currently working on. Even the catering was proof of the new partnership and offered guests culinary specialties from both parts of the world.
