The new servo press generation from SIMPAC
Bodnegg, 22.06.2018 - Since the foundation of Simpac Europe GmbH at the beginning of 2017, the focus of the international team has been on research and development, sales and marketing.
In addition to the direct contact to European customers, the goal is the continuous further development of the press technology. The MX and SX series are the first results of this new, German-Korean cooperation, combining German engineering with Korean efficiency and the usual attractive price / performance ratio of Simpac.
The presses have been further developed at decisive points:
- The very solid, low-stress annealed press bodies are FEM-calculated and optimized by individual, so-called “hot-spot analyses” in area which are subject to higher loads
- The entire drive concept has been modified in regards to efficiency and dynamics
- Motor(s), holding brake, lubrication and power electronics have been replaced by products of German origin, which ensure maximum dynamics, a long service life and a reliable supply of spare parts
Comprehensive production capacities within the SIMPAC Group as well as a modern machine park enable a time- and cost-efficient production of the new press series.
The compact servo stamping presses of the MX series are available from 3,000 to 10,000 kN, the servo presses of the SX series from 8,000 to 30,000 kN. The models of both series can be either operated as a single press in progressive or transfer mode, as a double press system for more flexibility or as part of a product adaption, if necessary as a fully automated press line. Together with our partners for automation we deliver individual, turnkey forming systems.
