CS and ECS series

C-frame presses

  • Press capacity: 350-2,500 kN
  • Part size: small
  • Slide kincematics: sinusodial
  • Application: cutting, stamping, bending, embossing

C-frame presses are flexible solutions for the production of small parts. The C-shape provides good accessibility to the die space and is thus suitable for manual work as well as for automated production processes.

The CS is the all-rounder among the C-frame presses, while the ECS is ideal for punching and cutting operations with a higher degree of automation.

Features and benefits:
  • The compact design requires little installation space, no foundation work and ensures good accessibility for maintenance.
  • Solid, low-stress annealed press body in monobloc design with minimal frame deflection
  • The durable hydraulic clutch is wear-resistant and operates very quiet.
  • A casting slide absorbs process-related vibrations and thus protects press and dies (ECS series).
  • The 4-fold slide guiding ensures a high tilting rigidity.
  • Hydraulic overload protection to protect press and dies
  • Fast availability (production time as of 12 weeks)

Advantages in operation as a press line:

  • The C-shape provides good accessibility to the die space and is thus suitable for manual work as well as for fully automated production processes with shuttle, transfer or robot automation.
  • The flexible combination of different tonnages enables the optimum adaption to the individual requirements of part and die.
  • The compact presses have advantages in logistics, design and handling and can be quickly and easily relocated or replaced.
  • Lower investment volume compared to single presses with correspondingly large bolster sizes
Standard equipment:
  • Vibration isolated installation
  • Mechanic slide adjustment (CS)
  • Mechanical (ECS) or pneumatic (CS) knock-out device
  • Two-hand control station at a mobile device
  • Light curtain (ECS)
  • Press force monitoring
