SIMPAC's New Servo Press Generation
SIMPAC Presents New MX & SX Series at EuroBLECH 2018

The MX/SX Series is the first result of this new, German-Korean cooperation.

28. June 2018

The prime focus of SIMPAC Europe GmbH has been R&D, sales, and marketing since its foundation in 2017. In addition to the direct contact to European customers, further goals of the company includes continuous development of press technology. The MX/SX Series is the first result of this new, German-Korean cooperation. The combination of German engineering with Korean efficiency creates SIMPAC's signature price | performance ratio. The presses' decisive points include:

  • Very solid, low-stress annealed press bodies that are FEM calculated and optimized by individual "hot-spot analyses" in areas subject to higher loads.
  • A completely modified drive concept for efficiency and dynamics.
  • Motors, holding brake, lubrication, and power electronics that have been replaced by products of German origin, ensuring maximum dynamics, long service life, and reliable supplies of spare parts.

Comprehensive production capacities within the Group, as well as its modern machine park, enables a time- and cost-efficient production for this press series.

The compact servo presses of the MX Series are available from 340 - 1,125 US tons, while the servo presses of the SX Series range from 900 - 3,375 US tons. Both models can be operated as a single press in progressive or transfer mode or a double press system (for more flexibility or product adaptation). The series can also become a fully automated press line. The MX/SX Series, together with our partners for automation, provides customers with individual, turnkey forming systems.
